The Edward Hyde Show: 63 : Tank tales

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 63 : Tank tales

I go past this tank on my way to work. And every time, I recall two tales.

One, of my cousin when aged five demanded "that toy" when he, my aunt and my grandmother were going towards the city.

Two, of Uncle Haas and his Italian client. On a whim, Uncle Haas bragged to his client saying, 'We took this from the Pakistanis during the war'.

Pat came the reply. 'What did they take from you?'
