The Edward Hyde Show: 101 : The Dakshin - A trailer

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 101 : The Dakshin - A trailer

trailer (noun)- A short filmed advertisement for a movie; a preview.

August 12, 13, 14 and 15th.

If I take August 14th off, I can get a 4-day weekend. Long enough to do a long road trip.

Why not go to Kerala? Go to Landstone via Coimbatore on 12th, then to Thrissur and Ernakulam on Aug 13, return to Landstone on the 14th and ride back to Bangalore on the 15th.

Perfect plan and a solo ride to boot... and I might just break the 1000 km barrier. It eluded me when I made the move to Bangalore via Coonoor.

Zimzim had other ideas. 'Bro, we are going to Kodai. Join us, it will be fun.'

I hesitated. I wanted to start on 'The Dakshin' and this fellow wouldn't stop tempting me.

Bangalore - Landstone - Thrissur - Ernakulam and back. Or Bangalore - Dindigul - Kodaikanal and back.

So what did I do?

Coming soon... watch this space!

I have lost count of the number of times I went to Ernakulam... not on the bike though. That way, Kodaikanal had a slight edge. But... you ought to be reading The Motorcycling Diary for details. :-)
