The Edward Hyde Show: 32 : To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 32 : To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield

One of my buddies from school had this to say about me-

"Hyde is very good in what he does because of his dedication and perseverance. Giving up is not an option for him. He has been through hardships both professional and personal and these have strengthened the steel in him."

Recalling it yesterday made me smile.

Giving up is not an option for me. I have to remember that.

In the clearing stands a boxer,
And a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders of every glove
That laid him down or cut him
’til he cried out in his anger and his shame
I am leaving, I am leaving,
But the fighter still remains

I am going to forge myself in another trial-by-fire. I know it will take time.

All I have to do is reduce that time.
