The Edward Hyde Show: 171 : Odds and ends

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

"You have always been with your parents. You never had to stay away from them. You don't know how it feels" she stated with finality.

She didn't know that I lived like a recluse in my own home, that the only times I ventured to meet my family was during meal-times and when necessary, that when required I can take care of myself. And I didn't know how to argue that.

It is a different story today.

But there is no need to argue anymore.

* * * * *
