The Edward Hyde Show: 10 : Have you ever seen the rain?

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

Episode 10 : Have you ever seen the rain?

Someone told me long ago
There's a calm before the storm
I know, it's been coming for some time
When it's over so they say
It'll rain on a sunny day
I know, shining down like water

The calm was around for so long, I began to wonder if everything was right. It looked normal, but it didn't seemed normal.

I wanna know
Have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know
Have you ever seen the rain
Coming down on a sunny day?

Rain in Madras always changes the weather. To dark, gloomy, and dampening wet. It is a rare day when the sun shines and the rain pours. I have never seen "wet English summers", maybe this is the closest I can get to it.

Yesterday and days before
Sun is cold and rain is hard
I know, it's been that way for all my time
Till forever on it goes
Through the circle fast and slow
I know, and it can't stop I wonder

Unrelenting rain. Never before did I see so much water in a single day. Rain that kept falling for over 24 hours. As if its sole purpose was to wash away whatever it could. Perhaps I should have stood under it...

I wanna know
Have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know
Have you ever seen the rain?

I have. Been seeing it the last couple of days. And feeling too.

Wake up to see a sunny morning, to an overcast afternoon, to a gloomy evening before the dark night falls. And wake up to see another sunny morning.
