Episode 29 : The kindred
The more I see Frasier (or read the transcripts), the more I feel connected to that character.
Barring moving away from a home of fifteen years, I have done it all.
Staying with parents.
Loss of love.
Loss of a job.
Being alone almost all the time.
Stuck in a rut.
Maybe it is not just me. Maybe there are others too. Facing these problems at different times of their lives.
The year ends in less than three weeks. And I have planned nothing. Just like every other time.
Every other time, but one.
I need to do something impulsive. Perhaps fill the tank and take the bike onto a highway.
Any highway.

why do ppl feel that they have to DO something on new years??come on, why do u have to keep up with the joneses and be seen around? chill@home with the people u love best and most importantly, be happy doing it :) i am at home too, if thats any consolation. and wouldnt want it any other way.

Well, the only time I did not stay at home, the following year turned out to be the best in a long time.
As for staying at home, I know my folks will go to sleep by 11 and I will awake till the early hours of the morning, doing nothing.
