The Edward Hyde Show: 105 : Timeline

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 105 : Timeline

4 months and a week ago, I moved out of Madras after 17 long years, to Bangalore. Away from a family, to be on my own.

7 months and a few weeks ago, I decided to move to Bangalore. And make it on my own.

10 months and two weeks ago, a relationship ended. Sometimes, you just have to make it on your own.

11 months ago, I made a not-so-private blog public. The Edward Hyde Show went live, but to a restricted audience.

11 months and a week ago, a misjudgement led to a fall and a jaw fracture. It felt strange not being able to speak open my mouth for a month.

12 months ago, the entity Edward Hyde was born.

Time flies... and how! Some events feel as if they happened a long time ago. And some as if they happened only yesterday.

But am I better off now than then?

I like to think that I am.

Note to self: Write the last two lines on a placard and put it in plain sight.
