The Edward Hyde Show: 154 : Postscript

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 154 : Postscript

'Welcome to India! How was the trip?' he asked.

I laughed. 'It felt surreal. From the time I got into Bangalore airport till I returned, it was like a nice, long dream.'

As I looked at the stuff I unpacked, I could not believe I was away for 5 weeks.

Not even stubs of boarding passes. Or songs of Norah Jones from her Not Too Late album that gave me company on those long drives.

But a niggling pain at the base of my spine and a watch that still shows California time convince me otherwise.

So how's the jet lag doing this time? Is the body clock back to Indian time or is it now on California time? :)

Massachusetts time? What's that? I only know Indian Standard time, but one of my watches is running slow by 11.5 hours. Strange!

    Ha ha...
Your watch is behind by hours? Yes, that does sound like the Indian Standard Time - the one used to attend events, parties, etc. ;-D
