The Edward Hyde Show: 195 : Hyde in Hyderabad

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 195 : Hyde in Hyderabad

When the plane touched down, I thought it would be the last time I would willingly visit Hyderabad again. The weekend had put the place in my list of least wanted places to visit. A fall from my earlier stance.

It was ironical when the next location was announced at Nagpur. Hyderabad was going to host the next edition of Rider Mania- in January 2008.

I was cynically amused at how things just happen to remind me of memories I least wanted to recall.

2007 crossed into 2008 and I found myself packing to leave for Madras. I intend to ride out tomorrow with the boys from Madras- who number at an astonishing 67, from just 12 last year.

I will enter Hyderabad exactly year later, well almost exactly if you discount the 4 extra days.

After Bombay and Bangalore, its time for Hyderabad. Two days of fun will hopefully sandpaper memories of last year.

And I will return to hit the big three-zero.
