The Edward Hyde Show: 196 : The big Three-Zero

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 196 : The big Three-Zero

'You know I am not that old, just thirty...' I began.

She laughed.

'Alright, I admit there are a few weeks to go. But I have become used to the idea of saying I am thirty. I mean, its just another number.'

And so I hit the big three-zero tomorrow. I still don't look my age, in spite of the ever-increasing white hair.

Thirty years of living, thirty years of seeing ups and downs. Each year taught me something new, and two days ago I learnt another lesson.

You could be the best guy for the job. But it is of no use if there isn't any vacancy.

I shall carry this thought for the rest of my life.
