The Edward Hyde Show: 209 : Hyde Can Cook- The experiments begin

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

Episode 209 : Hyde Can Cook- The experiments begin

From Wikipedia,

"Goulash is a (sometimes) spicy dish, originally from Hungary, usually made of beef, onions, red peppers, and paprika powder. Its name comes from Hungarian gulyás (pronounced goo-yash), the word for a cattle stockman or herdsman, and was invented by Jake Burage (1897)."

Experiment 2: "How To Cook Goulash In 20 Simple Steps"

  1. Peel and cut the boiled potatoes.
  2. Cut pieces of boiled beef into smaller bits.
  3. Take one half a capsicum and chop into smaller pieces. If you like you can make various geometric shapes instead of boring rectangular ones.
  4. Take a pressure cooker and dump one bowl of boiled chickpeas into it.
  5. Also dump the cut potatoes and beef pieces into the cooker.
  6. Sprinkle a packet of chili flakes that you get for free from various pizza outlets.
  7. Add a cup of water or two.
  8. Cook until first whistle or till your patience runs out.
  9. In a pan, pour a spoonful of oil and allow it to heat.
  10. Chop an onion and once the the oil is warm, dump the onion pieces into it.
  11. Stir fry while you hunt for a packet of oregano seasoning, the source for it being the same pizza outlet.
  12. Locate cumin powder and chicken masala powder, put a spoonful of each into the pan and continue stirring.
  13. The pressure cooker should have done cooking by now. Dump the contents of the cooker into the pan and resume stirring.
  14. Hunt for tomatoes and remember that you are out of tomatoes.
  15. Replace with tomato puree.
  16. Resume stirring. Add some more chicken masala powder if desired. If you wish for a unique taste, add chat masala as well.
  17. Remember to add salt unlike the times when you made macaroni.
  18. Keep stirring till you get tired.
  19. Switch off the gas and cover the pan.
  20. Put some rice on a plate and add curd to it.
  21. Using a ladle, serve yourself goulash and eat with rice and curd.

So it is 21 steps, hmm.
