Episode 351 : Post Script
The mandatory post post-wedding has been pending for a long time, though technically speaking the post on the wedding itself was post-wedding.
Anyway.
People ask me how life is treating me after the wedding. Let me see.
I have a wedding ring that seems to be a little larger than it was when we bought it. I blame it on the oily food that I did not consume since the second week of February. And now that I carry lunch to the office, my waistline might just reduce a little.
There is a renewed focus to clear up the apartment of all junk that only men can collect. There is a belief that I have too many things in the apartment for one person- mostly things that do not work, automobile/motorcycle spare parts, and cartons. I became more environmentally-friendly so I began stocking cartons of various sizes instead of polythene bags.
I also realized that I do not have to pretend being single and hide the fact that I am serious about someone, just so that I wouldn't jinx it. But it takes a little getting used to describing Anna as "wife" instead of "fiancée".
Relatives have already begun hinting about Family Member #3. No one wants to believe that at 36, I am unable to run behind hyperactive children, nor have enough patience to deal with them. I was always short on patience, but the popular notion is that I will learn. You can teach an old dog new tricks, but even patience has limits.
In all, life isn't so bad. And like I said earlier, it hasn't changed much either.

@Ricercar Bike parts, car parts, car care products, broken spare parts, ropes of various lengths, partially-filled engine oil cans, and dust all around them.

Congratulations! Wish you and the missus much happiness. And never mind the relatives - you produce Family Member #3 and they'll be after you for Family Member #4! So enjoy while you can :) Xx
