The Edward Hyde Show: 151 : Hyde in America, Part VIII

"Sometimes I get to feelin’, I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young, things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young,
The sun was always shinin’ - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don’t know,
The rest of my life’s been just a show."

--Freddie Mercury, These are the days of our lives.

Episode 151 : Hyde in America, Part VIII

It is almost 4 weeks since I moved to California. And almost 5 since I left India.

I didn't have trouble with jet-lag in Massachusetts; I guess the 4-hour nap that I took after checking into the hotel helped.

I didn't have the luxury of doing the same when I landed in California. It was already past 6 in the evening when I finished unpacking. Instead I went foraging for food.

I hit the ground running; I didn't have a Sunday to relax. It was work, work and work for the next 5 days. And by going to sleep after 11pm, I didn't help matters either.

At first I thought it is the lack of sleep and flight fatigue. Later I figured flight fatigue cannot manifest itself so deeply.

It has to be jet-lag.

After all, what else can explain the fact that I get up between 3am and 4am, what would be between 6am and 7am in Massachusetts, every morning in the last 4 weeks?

I am sure it will get worse when I fly back!
